Diagnosis

What this notice means

The reported stop/platform does not specify parent_station.

Operational effect

Why it matters

This can be correct for a standalone stop, but a station platform may not be grouped with its station.

Scope

Files to check and report fields

Report fieldTypeMeaning
csvRowNumberintegerRow number of the faulty record.
stopIdstringThe id of the faulty record.
stopNamestringThe stop name of the faulty record.

Repair

How to fix it

  1. 1

Check whether the stop physically belongs to a station.

  2. 2

If it does, reference the correct station record. If it is a standalone street stop, keep the parent empty; a parent is not universally required for every stop.

  3. 3
    Check the result

After a repair, rebuild the archive and validate it again. Confirm that the affected records are correct and that no new related notices appeared. A reviewed warning or informational notice may remain when it describes intentional, supported data.
