Diagnosis

What this notice means

A stop ID in transfers.txt refers to a location type other than stop/platform (0) or station (1).

Operational effect

Why it matters

The transfer uses an endpoint type that this rule does not allow.

Scope

Files to check and report fields

Report fieldTypeMeaning
csvRowNumberintegerThe row number from `transfers.txt` for the faulty entry.
locationTypeNamestringThe name of the invalid location type.
locationTypeValuestringThe numeric value of the invalid location type.
stopIdstringThe referenced stop id.
stopIdFieldNamestringThe name of the stop id field (e.g. `from_stop_id`) referencing the stop.

Repair

How to fix it

  1. 1

Use stopIdFieldName and stopId to inspect the endpoint in stops.txt.

  2. 2

Reference the correct stop/platform or station. Do not reclassify an entrance or boarding area solely to make the transfer valid.

  3. 3
    Check the result

After a repair, rebuild the archive and validate it again. Confirm that the affected records are correct and that no new related notices appeared. A reviewed warning or informational notice may remain when it describes intentional, supported data.
